End of the installation of behavioral barriers in Grands-Malades

As part of the European Life4Fish project, Luminus continues to implement and test solutions to improve the living conditions of migrating fish along the Meuse.
At the end of October, a second electrical behavioral barrier was installed on the Grands-Malades site. The latter is intended to direct salmon smolts to an outlet that is being completed, which will allow fish to safely bypass our facilities.
We hope to obtain the same encouraging results as for the electric barrier intended to divert eels, installed in 2019.
